About Donna

After living in Dallas all her life and working for twenty years as an architectural illustrator, Donna Page recently relocated to the East Texas area.  In December 2012, Texas A&M University-Commerce awarded her a master of arts degree and was an adjunct professor while earning her degree. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Donna first became intrigued with children’s books as she read to her daughter’s Carrin and Cristine more than twenty years ago. With the publication of Katrina Dogs, she is fulfilling her long time dream to write and illustrate children’s books. A percentage of each book sold will be donated to an animal rescue organization.

She now teaches at Northeast Texas Community College and conducts various workshops and classes within the East Texas art community. She and her husband Paul live on Lake Bob Sandlin in East Texas with their dog, Bernie and four cats, Doris Day, Russ, Mr. Big and Scooter.
